Marco Scozzaro is an Italian multidisciplinary artist based in NY. With his project l’oggetto he DJs and produces underground house music, blending jazz/funk influences with a deep Italian Tendenza. Drawing inspiration from the musical cross-pollination between Detroit, Chicago, New York, and the Italian Riviera, l’oggetto crafts a unique sonic texture that transcends borders and genres. At the heart of his sound lies an amalgamation of diverse influences with a keen eye for contrasts - seamlessly blending abstract electronic geometries with jazz-infused grooves, dreamy soundscapes with percussive textures, leftfield vibes with minimalistic structures. With his label MKDF Records, l’oggetto has released the influential series of 12 "Musica da Discoteca”, a mesmerizing odyssey into the depths of underground dance music.
